Combating climate change is the greatest challenge of our time. At Motum, we often advocate modernizing elevators instead of tearing them down and installing new ones. Together with Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, we have produced areportshowing that modernization results in at least a 50% reduction in environmental impact compared to installing a new elevator.
