Now the elevators are stylish, reliable, and safe!

Kjell-Ove Älåker has been chairman of the Stångåpromenaden Housing Association for the past 12 years. He explains: “When the elevators were about 25 years old, we decided to renovate all nine of them at the same time. We solicited bids for both modernization and replacement but ultimately chose modernization because it is a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective option.” He continues: “The project took 29 weeks, and the elevators were upgraded one at a time.”

We’ve achieved top-notch elevator design and functionality

The Scandic Frimurarehotellet in Linköping was built in 1912. When two of the hotel’s elevators were due for renovation, a modernization solution was chosen that could be adapted to the building’s beautiful National Romantic architecture. The project was carried out by Motum subsidiary Nordisk Hiss, which has extensive expertise in modernization. Scandic Frimurarehotellet is centrally located in Linköping. The newly renovated hotel has 260 rooms served by a total of six elevators.

Keep the elevator car virus-free with the new innovative “Breathe Now” system

Nordisk Hiss is now introducing the “Andas nu” product to the Swedish market. “Andas nu” is an innovative and cutting-edge solution for purifying the air in the elevator car, thereby reducing the risk of infection spread within the elevator.

Come meet Nordisk Hiss at this spring’s “Fastighet 2020” evening trade shows

This spring, Nordisk Hiss will be exhibiting at the Fastighet 2020 evening trade shows in Västerås, Västervik, Värnamo, Eskilstuna, Jönköping, and Nyköping.

Electric service vehicles at Nordisk Hiss

In 2019, Nordisk Hiss purchased and tested three electric service vehicles. The trial has been a success, and the company is now evaluating the possibility of using electric vehicles in other parts of its operations.
