We had the opportunity to meet Fredrik Rova, a service technician at Motum Stockholm. With a full 28 years in the elevator industry, Fredrik is one of those who truly has elevators in his blood. He is based in the City district of Stockholm and, over the years, has become a familiar face in the buildings where he keeps the technology in top condition: “No two days are alike—and that’s exactly what makes the job so rewarding.”

Sara Walldén to Become New CEO of Hissgruppen

Sara Walldén has been appointed the new CEO of Hissgruppen and will assume the position on November 1, 2023. Sara has extensive experience in the elevator industry and is also CEO of the sister company ITK Hiss AB, which operates in both Stockholm and Uppsala. Sara has a solid background in the elevator industry and has served as CEO of ITK AB since 2017. In 2020, she also took over as CEO of Uppsala Lyftservice, both of which are part of the Motum Group.

Meet Björn Söderström – Supervisor at Motum Stockholm

An interview with Björn Söderström. Björn lives in Stockholm and has worked in the elevator industry since 2004. Since 2022, he has been a supervisor at ITK, where he is responsible for managing and coordinating the technicians and also maintains relationships with many of ITK’s service and maintenance clients.

Modernization

Modernization of elevators in Sollentuna Hem AB’s properties

A large number of older elevators in Sollentunahem AB’s portfolio had been in operation for 40 years when the company decided to modernize them. The elevators lacked essential safety features such as interior doors, and the heavy swing doors posed accessibility issues for users. The modernization project, which covered 40 elevators, was carried out by ITK, now Motum Stockholm AB, and Sollentunahem is very satisfied with the result today.
