Steve works as a repair technician at Motum and is driven by what makes the job unique—the variety, the problem-solving, and the opportunity to breathe new life into elevators that many people think have reached the end of their useful lives.

Victoria Mägi – The Energy Hub and the Center of Motum Väst in Mölndal, Gothenburg

We had the opportunity to meet Victoria Mägi, an administrator at Motum Väst in Mölndal. Together with her colleague Amela Arnautovic—who is also a highly valued and indispensable member of the team—the two of them keep the administrative machinery running that so many at Motum rely on.

Employee Profile: Fredrik Rova, Technician at Motum Stockholm

We had the opportunity to meet Fredrik Rova, a service technician at Motum Stockholm. With a full 28 years in the elevator industry, Fredrik is one of those who truly has elevators in his blood. He is based in the City district of Stockholm and, over the years, has become a familiar face in the buildings where he keeps the technology in top condition: “No two days are alike—and that’s exactly what makes the job so rewarding.”

Employee Profile – Jonas Broling, Technician at Motum Port

We had the opportunity to meet Jonas Broling, a technician at Motum Port, part of the Motum Group—one of the Nordic region’s leading players in the garage door and elevator industry. With nearly ten years of experience in the garage door industry, Jonas has built up a solid expertise in both technology and service. He also emphasizes the value of strong relationships with his customers.We visit Örebro to meet Motum Port and have the privilege of accompanying them out in the field to discuss doors and everything related to them with some of the customers in the area. In one of the conference rooms at Motum Port, we take a moment over coffee to chat with Jonas and learn more about his role and what makes Motum unique.

Morten Enge, Elevator Technician at Motum AS

We meet Morten Enge, a lift technician with nearly 20 years of experience, and join him on a visit to the Tveita Housing Cooperative—a large housing cooperative on the outskirts of central Oslo comprising three large high-rise buildings, each with 15 floors and three elevators.

Meet Carina Skagersten – Elevator Technician at Motum Närke

We had the privilege of spending a day at work with Carina Skagersten as she visited BRF Räven in Örebro alongside her colleagues. We talked and discussed the various aspects of her job as an elevator technician, what it’s like to work with BRF Räven—Hisscentralen’s longest-standing client—and how the elevators are performing following major modernization projects. We get a glimpse into what Carina’s day-to-day looks like, and she highlights the key factors that make the job fulfilling: her colleagues, the work environment, the customers, and the profession as a whole.
