Motum is expanding its presence in Sweden

Motum is now taking the next step in its development in the Swedish market with the appointment of Jonas Granzell as COO. With a clear focus on its business in Sweden, Motum aims to strengthen its customer engagement and better position itself for continued growth, while continuing to develop with a focus on stability and long-term sustainability. Fredrik Eliasson will continue as CEO of Motum and can thus devote more energy to the Group’s and Mitsubishi’s international development and long-term efforts in Europe.

Jonas Granzell to Lead Motum’s Swedish Operations
In this role, Jonas Granzell will work closely with the management teams of Motum’s Swedish companies, focusing on business development, customer relations, and the further development of Motum’s market offering in Sweden. The assignment involves building on the companies’ strong positions while creating the conditions for increased growth and collaboration within the Swedish operations. Through shared priorities and closer collaboration, Motum can broaden and strengthen its offering, become even more relevant to customers, and continue to develop as a competitive player in the markets where Motum Sweden operates.

The goal is to leverage the local presence, deep market knowledge, and specialized expertise of the Swedish companies, while developing collaboration where it creates clear business and customer value. The entrepreneurial approach, with short decision-making paths and a customer-centric focus, will continue to be a cornerstone of how we operate in Sweden. Through strong local companies, specialized expertise, and a long-term focus, Motum stands firm and well-equipped for continued growth in the Swedish market. – Motum aims to be the first choice for our customers in Sweden. By combining our local strengths and specialist expertise, we at Motum can offer broader and more value-creating solutions. With a learning-oriented and entrepreneurial approach and a clear customer focus, we will build an even stronger and more competitive local business,” says Jonas Granzell.

At the same time, there will be a greater focus on international development
This change entails a clear division of responsibilities within the organization. While Jonas Granzell focuses on the Swedish business and close collaboration with Swedish companies, Fredrik Eliasson can devote more time and energy to Mitsubishi’s and Motum’s international development and strategic work in Europe.

“This allows us to work in a more focused manner on several fronts at once. We are strengthening our presence in Sweden while also creating better conditions for the continued development of Mitsubishi and Motum in Europe and internationally,” says Fredrik Eliasson.

Business-Focused Experience
Jonas Granzell brings a solid background from leadership roles in the elevator and installation industry, where he has worked closely with business operations, customers, and the market in various management positions. He has extensive experience leading organizations through change and developing business in the Swedish market. In his new role, he will leverage his leadership experience, business focus, and market understanding to further develop Motum’s presence in Sweden—building on the strengths of the Swedish companies and prioritizing customer value.
